TOWN HALL GALLERIES
Gallery 1 has a range of changing exhibitions throughout the year, featuring contemporary artists from the region and beyond. Within the gallery there is a resource area where you can come and meet your friends, put your feet up, read up on contemporary art, have a coffee and browse the Visual Arts Ipswich website. - Gallery 1 will be closed from 5th August until 12th September
Gallery 2 is run by members of the Suffolk Craft Society and is the finest contemporary craft centre in East Anglia. It is the place to buy work from leading designer makers of the region. There is something for everybody with prices from just a few pounds. Handcrafted jewellery and textiles, glass, ceramics, furniture, prints, hand-made cards and much more. If you can't find exactly what you want you can always commission an individual piece from the maker of your choice.
Gallery 3 is an active space with displays of Ipswich's recent heritage.- Dragons, Silks and Stories exhibition exploring life in traditional China, featuring beautiful objects from the museum services collection, many of which have not been seen in public before. Don't miss this fantastic and free exhibition.
The nearest car park is Crown car park.
From the pedestrian exit follow the signs to the Town Hall as you walk down Lloyds Avenue.

Entrance to The Town Hall Galleries is free: Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 5pm.
