The Church was built in 1835 and being the first Church in ipswich to be built since the Reformation is therefore one of ther very few churches in the County to be built during the reign of King William IV. Perhaps the best know feature of the Church is the East window, a memorial to the dead of World War I

The Church celebratied it's 175th Birthday in 2010. It is open on a Sunday from 10:30am and on the first Saturday morning of each Month. Visitors are welcome outside these times by contacting 0773 199 16699.
