Birthplace of Thomas Gainsborough RA [1727-88]
Historic house dating back to the 16th Century with an attractive walled garden. The outstanding collection is shown together with eighteenth -century furniture and memorabilia. A varied programme of temporary exhibitions of both historic British and contemporary art is shown throughout the year, with Sculpture in the garden during the summer. Gift and coffee shop.
Open: Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm
Closed: Sundays, Good Friday and between Christmas and the New Year.
Admission: Adult £4.50, Concession £3.60, Child/Student £2, Family £10 - Children under 5 are free
