Flatford - Bridge Cottage
The scenery at Flatford has changed little since the great landscape painter John Constable lived there.
'Willie Lot's Cottage' and 'The Haywain' are both instantly recognisable as immortalised in his paintings.
Walk along the tow path towards the lock and mill owned by Constable's father, and the scene of 'Flatford Mill' has changed little since the famous painting of 1816, now hanging in the Tate Gallery.
At Bridge Cottage owned by the National Trust is an exhibition, tea room and gift shop.
