Woodbridge
With its narrow medieval streets and restored Tide Mill, the attractive town on the River Deben, dates back to Anglo-Saxon times.
Driven by the surging power of the tidewater as it ebbs and flows, the tide mill is the last of its kind still working in England. The massive, white, weather-boarded mill was in daily use until 1957 and was rebuilt in the 1970's.
